BIOCHROM WPA Biowave II UV/Visible Spectrophotometer 7121 V1.8.0
The Biochrom WPA Biowave II spectrophotometer offers you a high energy performance with longer lamp lifetime. This is because of the combination of ease of use with flexibility, the novel optics required no lid or moving parts and use of Xenon source.
The Biowave II have been designed to meet the needs of life science. They are pre-defined for nucleic acid quantification (DNA, RNA, oligionucleotides), protein assays (BCA, Biuret, Bradford, Lowry) and cell culture.

Nucleic acid scans for purity checking
Low volume capability with 10 µl quartz cells
Optics with xenon source for long lamp lifetime
The visualisation of the nucleic acid scan is useful for RNA samples, where impurities may be present in the 230 nm region.
The backlit display enables wavelength scans, kinetic assays (slope calculation) and standard curves.
Results may be printed to an integrated high quality graphical thermal printer for paper record or exported via USB connection to PC running Print Via Computer (PVC) software for advanced reporting or data storage. (Software included)
